The Mind Projected Cinema will be returning to Whitstable during November. The two performances will be held at 5:30pm and 7:30pm on Saturday 8th November 2008. The performances will run for approximately 45 minutes. Tickets to either event are £5 and are available by phoning 07818 063 609.

I have just heard that there is likely to be a final performance of the Mind Projected Cinema (see 6th June for full details) to be held in Whitstable, Kent. The provisional date is Saturday 8th November 2008. Unlike the previous run where recordings were played, I will be there in person.

Today I was booked to perform my Stand-up Mind Reading act in Regents Park. Actually in the park itself. For those of you who have seen the demonstration, you'll probably appreciate how it would not be especially easy to perform it in an open space, but thankfully it all went extremely well. I've been fortunate enough to spend the past couple of days working with Manchester based contemporary artist, Mike Chavez-Dawson. Mike has created an interactive art exhibition called 'The Mind Projected Cinema' which will be displayed at the 2008 Whitstable Biennial in a few weeks time.

The general idea behind the exhibition is that participants sit in cinema seats whilst staring at a large inkblot projected upon the wall. It is my job, as the hypnotist, to evoke visual hallucinations as they stare at the inkblot. The hallucinations will be scenes from various Hammer Horror films staring Peter Cushing.

At the time that the exhibition will be taking place, I'm going to be performing out of the country. However, I have recorded eight 2-hour recordings (each recording specific to a different film) to be played in my absence.

Good news! (for me at least). I have just been rebooked by Cooling Castle Barn in Rochester for their Christmas bookings this year. Yippee!
